About the Author

For many reasons, writing never came easily to A. A. Achibane. Not for lack of desire, her imagination has run wild all her life. Her struggle was due to being dyslexic. She didn't learn to read until she was six years old. And even with the obvious disadvantage, she spent all her school years unclassified and expected to learn and perform like all the other kids. There was no outside encouragement to get her writing career started; she wanted something to read, and nothing struck a chord. And that's how A. A. Achibane began to write.

A. A. Achibane isn't new to the indie publishing scene. She's been publishing her fanfiction under the names Aya Faulkner and Shnuggletea for years now. This has given her experience in writing and producing. It allowed her to develop tough skin and a voice.

Achibane writes in many different genres, but romance themes are always present. Any romance, big or small, in her works will be clean. Anything between the romantic pair, like touching and kissing, occurs after marriage. So, A. A.'s stories have kissing, but there's been some understanding made first. A. A.'s stories are not all Islamic-based and by no means meant to convert.

Historical and fantasy romances are easy, and that sort of lifestyle is a given to them. But Contemporary? It's a challenge that she has accepted. It means there is a lot of tension, and slow builds are a must!

It's been nearly a year since Josaline's cousin disappeared. But since Rene is lesser than dirt as an Alloy, her disappearance goes uninvestigated. That's the law.

In the near future, Josaline's wealthy parents helped create laws discriminating against over half the population. Understandably, she would want to keep her identity a secret from everyone. No one would understand why she's looking for her lost cousin, Rene. Josaline has finally moved away from her parents. Secretly moving in with her 'lesser' family (Alloyed), Josaline is ready to start fresh, where no one (except her family) knows who she is. The only problem is that her cousin, Rene, is still missing, and her cousin, Reglin, lost his patience long ago. When Josaline discovers his plan to infiltrate the only suspects questioned by the police, she forces her help on him. But no one can know who she is; her powerful family would make things worse, not better.

Josaline got him into this mess, and she's going to get him out of it whether he likes it or not. What Sora is going to make them do will be illegal and dangerous. And even after they complete the job, is Sora actually going to release them? Sora has had his hooks in Yuuto for years already, but how? What more could Sora do to try and destroy everything Yuuto loves? Josaline didn't start this war, but her entrance only made things worse. Finding Rene and saving her from harm just got a lot more complicated.

Newly envisioned and rewritten, Growing Pains is a marriage of convenience set in a modern time!

Folker thinks it's all a scam, one that he (as a defense lawyer) is willing to exploit at his own risk. When he filled out the form on InstaWife, expecting nothing to come from it besides cause for a lawsuit, he never stopped to think they might actually send someone to marry him to his doorstep!

Ellie is always on the run because he always finds her. His resources are endless, and Ellie is tired. She wants a life, to plant roots, and to have a new identity. With no resources of her own (like connections to the black market), her only choice is to get married. Always one to hope to marry for love, Ellie can only hope for the best as she accepts an offer, sight unseen, from Folker Magner.

As the tension between them builds and the connection deepens, Ellie and Folker navigate the complexities of their contrasting worlds. Folker’s unwavering devotion to his precocious six-year-old daughter becomes evident as their worlds mingle. At the same time, Ellie’s dangerous past comes to light.

They strive to balance love, personal histories, and their future in this steamy, slow-burn, southern-town contemporary romance. Explore this captivating journey of two hearts entwined as they try to create a happy family together.
